CPC Programs Exam Only

Exam Only: Prior-Learning Credit. In this option, you may register and submit evidence of completing a learning program with the past 24 months. A learning program certificate and overview of content is required unless the program was from an approved SHRM Essentials Provider (for a list select here). Any course specific to the applied-learning content you seek certification that was awarded credit by a licensed and accredited university is automatically approved (upon verification of transcript and earning a minimum of a B; or passing with a standard of 80% min.).

Eligible participants will complete the application based on the eligibility requirements, provide evidence of their prior-learning, and then be approved for the certification experience. This means candidates must submit documentation using the SLA formats provided to demonstrate their applied-professional and learning competencies to meet the certification standards set by the SLA and their affiliates. This includes: submitting an applied portfolio demonstrating application of knowledge as directed in the certification standards; submitting a reflective paper; and completing a content-exam. You have one week to accomplish the exam only. Exam only options are held monthly during the first week of each month. You will be given access to the exam center; will prepare; submit your documents and complete the exam prior to the 11pm cut-off provided to you at the time of registration.
