About CPC Program Measurement
The Strategic Learning Alliance has created a certification process built around
simulated-applied experiences, testing, and learning-based reflection. To this
end, all certifications including the CPC are measured through the SLA as a third
party credentialing agency.
This process includes:
- learning about negotiations from approved providers using the Professionalism: Effectively Applied Knowledge (PEAK™) Theory;
- engaging in a simulated negotiation environment where by candidates reflect on their past negotiations, engage a process to plan and prepare for a future negotiation, and present a negotiation plan meeting the best practices of a certified professional negotiator.
